PolyJet – creating stiff and flexible 3D models made of acrylic resins.
Based on the 3D printing model, PolyJet technology can simultaneously apply two different types of resins during one print process.
An advantage of this method is the ability to build physical models with varying mechanical-physical properties during one printing process. Depending on the selected mode, PolyJet can create models with layer thicknesses as low as 16 or 32 microns. This capability makes it possible to create very precise models in a short time and allow us to choose a material with characteristics as close as possible to the target material.
Application:
- 3D models (marketing purposes),
- Functional models (testing, research purposes),
- Prototypes of flexible elements (seals, washers).
Advantages:
- Wide range of materials with various physical and mechanical properties;
- The possibility of obtaining a model consisting of two resins, as well as several different models in one printout, depending on the applied cartridges and consumables;
- Smooth surfaces derived from a 16-micron layer thickness along the Z axis.
Materials:
- FullCure 720,
- VeroWhite,
- Tango Plus.
